O2 shepherd's bush empire. Balloon burst from front of stage, recorded from front of house mixing position. . . And if you've ever been there that's not very far at all. A venue with a very long history and an ir worth having in any collection, even if you never use it. :-). .
Balloon burst in trafalgar street underground car park in brighton. A fun but pretty useless reverb. Almost triggered a terror alert recording it. Be careful where you pop balloons!. .
Nottingham royal concert hall. Balloon burst at front of stage and recorded from the front of house mixing position. Might sound good for orchestras but rubbish for rock bands. .
Ir recorded in a uk red telephone box. Originally recorded with a full sine sweep but uploaded as a processed spike. Some nasty stuff around 280/300hz but hey, that's a phone box for ya. .
A sound made in audacity. 500hz tone, lasting 0,5 seconds, 0,5 pause, repeated 4 times, with a bit of reverb. Could be used as some sort of alert or alarm. Loop friendly.
I really couldn't figure out how to describe this. There must be an industry standard description for what i'm calling a diminishing reverb. It was the metal funnel in a stove top espresso maker as it was rolling on a tile counter and got got in the tile grooves.
Impulse response of a 1986 alesis microverb on the large 2 setting. Recorded through a tascam us-1641 into studio one 2, convolution done with voxengo deconvolver.

I needed a hard impact noise and created this one. It's made with a 909 crash cymbal. I've put a few effects on it to create this sound. I hope someone can use this sound for a project some day.
This sound has 1 purpose. Add deep bass to everything it touches. It may be short, but every aspect was fussed over. This is my cat charlotte recorded with two yamaha pocketrak recorders placed in front of a peavey bandit 65 amp set on reverb. I used an audio-technica mic to record her meow's and ended it with her motor boat purr. :^)if you use it please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
Opening a can in a close position to the object. Sound has been modified due to rise the quality. Moreover, a reverb effect has been added to make the sound more suggestive.
Here's one from a series of 'clang' sounds, great for impact moments in trailers & commercials, or to layer up with other sounds. They are somewhat high-pitch, so they might mix well with low frequency drums and impact sounds. Recorded with tascam dr-40 built-in-mics, by hitting a railing with a pipe in a stairwell and adding a little bit more reverb in daw.
I just tested the recently released plugin moscillator (by meldaproduction) and fiddled around with the parameters. It's always the same fundamental. But i automated the parameters for the harmonic's post-processor (sharpen, clean, harmonize, noise, compress). In the end i just put a reverb (eareverb [preset: "under the city"], 100% wet) after the oscillator.
